For a one-night stay it was OK. The sites are not very level and the electric did not work at first. For the money, it was OK. Personally, I never feel comfortable in parks that have a lot of full-time residents. I want to stay in an RV park....not a trailer park.

This is a small rural campground about 2 1/2 mi. off the Interstate.  When we were there, I think most of the sites were filled with long term folks.  The road into the park is narrow.  Two RV's could not pass on the road.  The sites are long, gravel and somewhat level.  There was a horse in the field just in front of us and cattle on the other side of the park. It was a very peaceful setting.  There is no wi fi in the park, but the town square in Forsyth is wired and free.  So are the parking spaces in town!  We had made reservations ahead of time.  We had to call about 3 or 4 times to get someone to answer the phone.  We kept getting an answering machine asking us to leave a message.  We couldn't do that because we were traveling.  When we got there early afternoon, there was no one in the office.  We picked our spot and pulled in then went back later to check in.  We were pretty sure the two sites we saw were for us since we were travelinig with friends.  Sites were pretty close together.  There was a picnic table.  I can't remember if there was a fire pit.  I don't think so.  We would probably stay there again if we were in the area.
